How You Can Help
Our goal is to provide the best possible care to the cats and kittens entrusted to us. At any given time, there are 100+ cats living at our shelter and often an additional 50+ in foster homes. With this many cats and kittens, you can imagine the hours we spend caring for them - and the amount of food, litter, medications, and cleaning supplies we use! From shelter maintenance to medical care to food and litter, we are always in need of assistance. Whether it's a donation of time, supplies, or money, we thank you in advance for helping CLAWS!

Sponsor a Shelter Resident
Dozens of our cats will call the shelter home for the remainder of their lives, many of them not considered adoptable due to special needs. We are very happy to have them as part of our shelter family! To see pictures and information regarding our permanent shelter residents, please visit our Adoptable Cats page and our Facebook page. Volunteer
We are constantly in need of volunteers to come and help at the shelter. You can do anything from brushing and petting our shelter residents, to cleaning cages, to scooping litter boxes. Even if it is only an hour or two a week, the cats will appreciate your time! Contact CLAWS to get started! Foster We are always looking for reliable fosters to provide home care for cats and kittens who have special needs. CLAWS provides the resources necessary to assist (i.e., medications).
